Celebrate the Ko’ko’ Express 1st Anniversary with Family Fun, Games, and Giveaways at Micronesia Mall! (November 8, 2025)

Micronesia Mall proudly invites the community to celebrate the first anniversary of the Ko’ko’ Express, a beloved indoor family train attraction, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11AM to 2PM in the Micronesia Mall Center Court.

Launched in November 2024, the Ko’ko’ Express is a trackless train that takes families on a whimsical ride around the Mall. Named after the ko’ko’ bird, Guam’s cherished and endangered flightless bird, the attraction represents Micronesia Mall’s ongoing commitment to creating family-friendly and educational experiences for residents and visitors alike.

This year’s celebration features a very special guest — a live ko’ko’ bird presented by the Guam Department of Agriculture, allowing guests to see the island’s iconic native species up close. Families can also enjoy free activities, entertainment, an appearance by Geoffrey the Giraffe, and giveaways throughout the event along with a meet-and-greet with the Ko’ko’ Express team. The celebration will also feature a cake cutting, photo ops with the train, and festive decorations in the Center Court.

The event will begin at 11AM and include a Ko’ko’ Bird Educational Showcase presented by the Department of Agriculture, table displays, giveaways, trivia, and a Ko’ko’ Express ride launching from the Center Court. Exhibitors include MM Theatres, Macy’s, and the Department of Agriculture who will feature a live ko’ko’ bird exhibit, bee display, and conservation demo. The event’s bakery partner, American Bakery, will provide the cake for the celebration.

Burger King– celebrating 36 Years– is also joining the festivities with a promotion at the train station. The first 36 participants who ride the Ko’ko’ Express with a BK Crown will receive a complimentary King Jr. Kids meal coupon in celebration of Burger King’s 36 Years on Guam.

Attendees will enjoy giveaways of special popcorn giveaways by MM Theatres, Ko’ko’ Express ride vouchers, Foot Locker gift cards, MM Theatres movie tickets, cake, and more!

Micronesia Mall invites families, schools, and visitors to join in this family-friendly celebration as the Mall heads into the holiday season. The holidays also mark the return of daily Ko’ko’ Express train rides beginning on Black Friday.
